Foursquare is in the process of shaking up its current app on iOS and Android. The company announced today a new logo, a new redesign of its UI and that starting tomorrow, all users using Foursquare will no longer be able to check-in using the app, and will instead have to switch over to their newly launched Swarm app. Thankfully, these changes will not affect BlackBerry 10, or BlackBerry OS device owners.

Kyle Fowler, client developer at Foursquare, let us know that check-ins will continue to work just as they have so far on all platforms that don’t have Swarm. Seeing as how Foursquare has yet to make a Swarm app for BB10 or BBOS, this would apply to their corresponding apps. So fear not, teamBlackBerry, you will still be able to share your location and check-ins with your friends with your BlackBerry device come tomorrow, and for the foreseeable future.
@jamescunni Hi! So sorry but currently Swarm is only available for iOS, Android and WP. You’ll still be able to use 4SQ to check-in on BB.

Foursquare has also just confirmed this in a tweet sent this evening.
