Looking to use Skype, Google Talk, Yahoo, MSN, and many more on your BlackBerry PlayBook? Unfortunately, either RIM or those companies aren’t interested in the timeliness for a native app. Enter IMO, an instant messenger webapp. With the latest PlayBook OS and update to Adobe Flash 10.3, it has enabled users to access these instant messaging programs through IMO. You can have your accounts open at the same time for simultaneous messaging all from on window in the PlayBook’s browser.

Check it out for yourself at http://imo.im and let us know what you think. You’ll have to finagle things around a bit for Skype to work properly with the PlayBook’s front facing camera. Once you do you though you’ll have a fair alternative while you wait for Skype to support the PlayBook (if they ever do).
