Gionee has launched the Gionee S6, a mid range all metal smartphone with good specs, in India for a price of Rs. 19,999.
That’s about $294, and for that money, you get a good looking smartphone, with a big screen and good specifications. The S6 has an all metal build and is one of the better-looking phones made from the Chinese company.
Lately, a lot of Chinese phones have been rising to fame thanks to their low prices, but flagship level specs. Take the OnePlus and Huawei smartphones, for example. It’s become a trend, to offer good specifications at a very low price point. Most of these phones don’t come to the US or European countries, but some do and they’re great if you’re looking for a decent smartphone on a budget.

The S6 is just 6.9 mm thick and boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 78 percent. That means almost 80 percent of the device is the 5.5-inch screen. Here are the official specs of the device;

All that, for just $294 or INR 19,999. That’s pretty good, don’t you think? This is the first phone from Gionee to include VoLTE, which should help in achieving good voice calling experience over LTE.
