You might remember the Android logo peeing on the Apple logo that showed up in Google Maps a few months ago. Though we have to admit that was quite funny, it was also inappropriate and Google didn’t like it. After the incident, they decided to remove Map Maker to make some changes, and now it’s back.
Google made some changes to Map Maker, and it is now available again in the US and 44 more countries. The updated Map Maker is a little more restricted now, which every edit needing an approval by a regional lead, which, as Google says, are users that show a clear interest in improving the map of their areas and will help moderate these changes.
