Google Pixel Camera

There has been a lot of hype surrounding the new Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones and what they can or can’t do. A lot of this hype has been coming from the immense capabilities of the cameras. This has also left many wondering if all that is being said is true.

The company really believes in the devices and more so in the capabilities of the camera installed. This is seen in the bold proclamation in the Google Pixel product page on the Google store that this is the highest rated smartphone camera ever.

This is after DxOMark Mobile gave the 12.3MP Google pixel camera a rating of 89, which is so far the highest ever given to a smartphone camera. This does not come as a surprise, considering the fact that this camera is claimed to be capable of recording 4k video at 30 fps, 1080p video at 120fps and 720p video at a massive 240fps.

A lot has been said about this camera hence we will not say more. Take a look at some of the photos shared by Isaac Reynolds, the Googler who is leading the team handling cameras for the Pixel and Pixel XL.

This primary camera combines laser detection autofocus and phase detection autofocus. This means that images will be captured accurately and fast.
