It’s hard to find someone these days who doesn’t take photos of their food to share with friends and family. Because of this trend, Google was working on a feature called Tablescape which was for uploading photos of food to Google+ and making it easier for other users to find it. Unfortunately, Tablescape died before being released. But Google’s idea didn’t end there.

Google is supposedly testing a new feature in Google Maps where users can upload photos of their food, drinks of the place they’re at, attach it to a location, and other users will be able to see it. Though it’s a strange place to look for photos, it might come in handy when searching for nearby locations to visit.

The feature is apparently still being tested, but we’re sure we will be seeing more of it before it’s released.
