Earlier today, BlackBerry officially unveiled the Passport. You can see our review on the device here. The Passport has been made available on ShopBlackBerry.com, Amazon.com, and a few carriers. Though, it appears to already be sold out.

BlackBerry announced that the Passport would receive exclusivity on US carrier AT&T. BlackBerry also said pricing of $599 for the Passport will be cheaper in the US than other countries.

After the Passport launch keynotes, BlackBerry CEO John Chen received media for a Q&A session. Chen explained the pricing in the US is only for a limited time.

The reason is due to the exclusive carrier availability on AT&T. Chen said he doesn’t want US customers [who aren’t on AT&T] to be deprived. Nevertheless, it’s good to know that BlackBerry slashed $100 off the Passport pricing to help US customers.
