I don’t know about you guys, but when I get a brand new BlackBerry the first thing I do, after setting up my emails, is download apps. Lots and lots of them. But then I realized maybe I downloaded too many, or maybe I just don’t use and will never use some of the apps installed on my BlackBerry. This guide will show you how to delete apps from your BlackBerry smartphone. Here’s how to do it:

There are two ways to delete an app. First:

1. Highlight the application you want to delete and press the Menu button.

2. From the menu, tap the “Delete” option.

3. You’ll be promted with a dialog box asking if you are sure you want to delete the app. If you are, press “Delete“, otherwise press “Cancel“.

The second way, on touch devices only:

1. Long-press the app you want to delete.

2. In the menu that comes up, press the “Delete” button.

3. You’ll be promted with a dialog box asking if you are sure you want to delete the app. If you are, press “Delete“, otherwise press “Cancel“.

And that’s it! Some applications will ask for you to restart your device after deleting the app. You can either restart right away or later. What I would recommend is you delete all the apps you want to and just perform one restart after you’re done. I hope this guide helps you, make sure you leave any questions or suggestions in the comments!
