Having your music tracks labeled incorrectly is one of the most annoying things that can happen to audiophiles and music lovers alike. Over the last couple of years, music streaming services have become really popular so that hasn’t been as big an issue for many lately. However, there are still those that believe you just can’t beat having music available directly on your SD card without any other app being needed.
For those of us that love using the native BlackBerry 10 music app, but hate the idea of our music’s tags being in complete disarray, there’s a great new app that’s made its way into BlackBerry World: ID3IOT for BlackBerry 10. ID3IOT does exactly what it advertises: it allows you to clean up your music’s audio tags with a simple, clean interface right from your BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
ID3IOT makes editing of audio tags about as easy as possible. As soon as you launch the app, it scans your SD card for any audio files that are lacking information or album art. It’ll then allow you to drop in any missing titles, names, or correct any information that maybe part of the tracks tag.
For those that may have a huge library of files, ID3IOT also includes a search function that makes easier to go to exactly the tracks you want to edit first. You can also open tracks on the fly with ID3IOT. Simply press, hold, and select ‘Open in ID3IOT’ to edit the track’s information. ID3IOT’s pro version will allow you to edit files in bulk. Instead of adding the same artitst, and album to a bunch of tracks, you can do it in one shot with ID3IOT Pro.
All in all, this is definitely a must have app for anyone that listens to music on their device, so check it out by hitting the link below!
