BlackBerry 10.2.1 has brought users the awesome ability to install Android APKs directly onto their device without the need to sideload. How is this possible? Well, I’m glad you asked. First, you need to get the APK for the app you want, download it, and install it.

1. Find your APK

Like BAR files for BlackBerry 10, Android apps are in essence APK files. With 10.2.1, you can install these directly, but you first have to find them. Googling for these APKs can get really annoying after some time, and you may end up downloading something you don’t want, so we’ve put together a list of Android APKs you can download directly onto your device here. If the app you want isn’t there yet, leave us a comment.

2. Open and install the APK

Once the APK has fully downloaded, click to open it and you’ll be prompted to install the app onto the device. Once the app installs, hit Open, and voila! You now have that app on your BlackBerry 10 device!
