Apple has seeded iOS 9.2.1 beta 2 to all registered developers and public beta testers. This beta comes three weeks after Apple pushed the iOS 9.2.1 beta 1.

A month ago, Apple release iOS 9.2 to the public with several small changes and plenty of bug fixes. iOS 9.2.1 seems to be a minor update and will most likely features more bug fixes.

The latest beta carries a build number 13D14 and is currently available for download via Apple’s iOS dev center. If you’re already running the first iOS 9.2.1 beta, then the new update should be available through OTA. Also, folks who had signed up for the iOS beta program can also download the latest beta.

We’re not really sure what’s new in iOS 9.2.1 beta 2, but several users are reporting slightly improved battery life. Spotlight and 3D Touch landscape mode lag is still present, according to some registered developers.

iOS 9.2 Jailbreak Release Date

There’s no ETA on an iOS 9.2.1 release date, but it should be out soon. Once again, this will be a minor update, so don’t expect phenomenal changes in iOS.

The iOS 9.2 jailbreak is still a work in progress, and we hope it is released before Apple puts out iOS 9.2.1. If, in case, Apple patches the exploit that may be used for an iOS 9.2 jailbreak, then we’ll have to wait much longer for a working jailbreak.
