Apple has let the public know something that we might have expected, but is still surprising. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus pre-order number are on track to beat last year’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus first weekend sales. During this span of time, Apple sold 10 million iPhones, and it looks like they will break that record again, though we don’t know yet by how much.

Something to keep in mind, and an important reason why the new iPhones could set a new record, is that the iPhone 6s will be available in China from day one, unlike last year.

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be launching on September 25th. The iPhone 6s will have a 4.7 inch screen, while the 6s Plus will have a 5.5 inch screen, both with all the cool new features announced, such as 3D Touch, Live Photos, 2GB of RAM, improved camera, iOS 9 and more.
