According to 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Kahn Brothers Group reported that its equity portfolio has a market value of approximately $580 million in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Irving Kahn is the oldest, living active investment manager at the age of 109. He is the chairman of the Kahn Brothers Group.

The quarterly filings have revealed the Kahn Brothers increased its stake in BlackBerry. The filings show they raised their 289,960 shares to 1,846,010 shares.

This is inline with many other renowned money managers and firms, who are bolstering their stake in BlackBerry.

BlackBerry is currently sitting just under $10 after close. It is certainly interesting to see more prominent investors pulling together a larger position in BlackBerry Ltd.
