Chinese manufacturer Vivo has just launched its latest Vivo smartphones X7 and X7 Plus in China. This launch comes just a few months after the unveiling of the Vico X6S and Vivo X6S Plus.
Both the Vivo smartphones are said to be almost similar in their specifications.
Highlights: Vivo Smartphones X7 and X7 Plus
- Both the Vivo X7 and Vivo X7 Plus are powered by a 1.8GHz octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) processor clocked at 1.8GHz. They come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.
- The devices come with 64GB Inbuilt storage. But the company listing confirmed that there will be a 128GB inbuilt storage model.
- The two handsets boast of a Fingerprint sensor in the front, which is embedded into the physical home button.
Other Specifications
Except for the display size and battery, you won’t find much difference in the Vivo smartphones. They have similar specifications.
Design – They both sport a unibody metal design. The Vivo X7 measures 147.3×71.8×7.2mm and weighs 151 grams. The Vivo X7 Plus measures 158.8×77.9×7.4mm and weighs 183 grams.
Display – Vivo X7 has a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. The display on Vivo X7 Plus is 5.7-inch Full HD with a 4,000 mAh battery.
OS – Both the devices run Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system along with the company’s FunTouch OS layer.
Camera – They have a 13MP rear camera with LED flash. But what is really interesting and the highlight of both the Vivo smartphones is – the amazing 15MP front-facing camera which is also accompanied by a LED flash. This means your selfies will never be the same again.
Connectivity – There are several connectivity options, including Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G, 3G, LTE and Micro USB.
Price & Availability
The Vivo X7 handset will go on sale from July 7 and is priced at CNY 2,498 ($375.)
The Vivo X7 Plus will be available starting July 15, but the company hasn’t yet announced the price.
Both the Vivo smartphones will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colors.
