During BlackBerry’s Annual Generally Meeting of shareholders, CEO Thorsten Heins revealed the company would be releasing another BlackBerry 7 device.
We’ve come to know this device to be the BlackBerry 9720, which will be the true BlackBerry for emerging markets. Today, despite the device not being available, its OS 7.1 beta has trickled out onto the interwebs.
We’re not sure exactly what new changes may lie within this build, or if anything can even be extracted for hybrids. The strange thing is it’s an autoloader like BlackBerry 10 OS’ and not the usual bootrom loader of the past.
