Microsoft has been releasing Lumia devices like crazy this year, with release of the Lumia 540, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, and Lumia 735 already. However, 2015 appears to be the year for mid-range devices, alleged leaked internal documents show.

Microsoft apparently plans to release three mid-range Lumia smartphones sometime this year: the Lumia 550, Lumia 750, and the Lumia 850. Two of which appear to be successors to the Lumia 540 and Lumia 730.

The Lumia 550 looks to be on the low-end, with the phone packing a 5-inch, 960 x 640 resolution display. The Lumia 550 is reportedly powered by a quad-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and 1GB of RAM. A 5-megapixel camera around back, with a 2-megapixel camera on the front. Additionally, there’s 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded through the MicroSD card slot.

The Lumia 750 looks to have a more powerful 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and the same 1GB of RAM. Screen resolution will get a bump up to 1,280 x 720, but the screen size remains the same. You’ll find the same 8GB of internal storage and the same Micro SD card slot. However, the rear camera gets a bump up to 8 megapixels. The front camera, also seeing a bump up, going to 5 megapixels.

The Lumia 850 has close specs to the Lumia 750. But, the processor is clocked higher at 1.4GHz. The rear camera has also been bumped up to 10 megapixels and 16GB of expandable internal storage added.

Unfortunately, the leaked internal documents did not reveal release dates for these mid-range Lumias. Though, IFA 2015 begins on September 4 through September 9, which has been suggested may be when Microsoft formally announces these devices.
