Motorola will be announcing some new smartphones this morning – at least that’s what we’re expecting to happen. Right on schedule with previous launches, new Moto X and Moto G devices should be unveiled along with a new line the Moto X Sport.

Based on some leaks we’ve seen, we already know the new Moto X will be big – bigger than last year’s model. It will reportedly feature a 5.5-inch display (up from 5.2-inch in 2014), and have improved internal specs all around. Thankfully, Motorola is leaving those of behind that don’t want such a giant device. Along with the new Moto X launch, rumors online have pointed to a Moto X Sport which would have a more 2014-feel to it. This device will presumably keep the 5.2-inch display and give customers another option in size.

As far as the Moto G, well, we pretty much already know everything about it thanks to a serious leaked video that was dropped last week. Specs for this mid-tier device were also leaked earlier and they are awesome (5-inch display with a 1080p resolution, 2GB of RAM, Cat. 4 LTE, Adreno 405 GPU, and a 1.7GHz quad-core processor), so price will be the one unanswered question going into this event.

Motorola will be live streaming this event starting at 9am EDT here.
