The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet still has yet to receive native BlackBerry Messenger. If you do not have a PlayBook, in order to use BBM you must have BlackBerry Bridge.

This is essentially mirroring BBM from your BlackBerry smartphone to your PlayBook. While it works relatively well, it doesn’t allow for groups and few other features.

The photos courtesy of BBOTA.cn are said to be of the native BBM, which we’ll hopefully soon see released for the PlayBook. Do you think this is native BBM? When do you believe RIM will release it?

Thanks Agentjucey!
