New BlackBerry 7 Bold Devices Planned

BlackBerry has just announced their Year-End and Fourth Quarter Fiscal 2014 Results. During the conference call, BlackBerry CEO John Chen announced they will be continuing the BlackBerry 7 Bold device line.

Chen says the reason for continuing BlackBerry 7 and future BBOS is due to customer feedback. We’ll see a slight evolution of this with the BlackBerry Q20 as a BlackBerry 10 device with the previous “five button belt.”

Foxconn will not be building these devices. Chen announced they’ve secured relations with Wistron to build the devices, should there be a demand. Nonetheless, stay tuned for continued BBOS devices in the future.
