A new study has been released that shows BlackBerry Messenger users on Android devices are showing more loyalty to that app than nearly all other communications apps available on Google’s operating system.

The study, done by Quettra and seen above, shows that users who downloaded BBM had a higher retention rate when compared to 20 of the 22 other social and messaging apps studied. In fact, only Facebook Messenger scored a higher retention rate than BBM.

The Information commissioned the study, and published that  BBM held onto more than 93% of its users after 30 days, more than double the 43% average user retention after 30 days for all apps measured.

After 60 days, 89% of BBM users remained loyal, and 82% after 90 days. Only Facebook Messenger ranked higher than BBM. You can click on the link above to view an interactive version of the graph shown.
