Malware Compromises 225,000 Apple Accounts of Jailbroken iPhones

Some people love to jailbreak their iPhones because it gives you the ability to customize and do a ton of cool things on your device. Unfortunately, since you’re giving apps more control over your phone, you’re at risk of having them take information you don’t want them to have access to. A new study has found just that has been happening. A new malware strain, nicknamed KeyRaider, is responsible for over 225,000 Apple IDs being stolen from jailbroken iPhones.

According to Engadget, “the software takes advantage of Chinese app repositories that let people directly upload and share their own titles. If you happen to download the code, it’ll either [...]

Instagram: The Fashionable Influence

My obsession with fashion has been fueled greatly with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. With the fixation of uploading selfies and other random pictures especially on Instagram, it has become a huge fashion faux pas for me to be pictured at different occasions with the same outfit. Unless it was a #ThrowBackThursday or #FlashBackFriday update, then all is forgiven. I am no celebrity nor am I an online influencer, but with how things move around the online world, my perception on fashion and image has changed. You just never know who is going to Google you. So, you might want to make it worth their effort and look good in any picture they [...]

Samsung Makes Gear S2 Smartwatches Official

Samsung officially announced their newest smartwatch, the Gear S2, today. The new Gear S2 features 1.2-inch circular display that offers 360×360 resolution. At 11.4-millimeter thin, it’s also going to be pretty compact to wear on your wrist if you’re not a fan of bulky watches.

Samsung is making two different variations for this launch: the Gear S2, and Gear S2 Classic. The latter is made specifically for consumers that “prefer a more timeless watch design.” The Gear S2 Classic will be available in black and will come with a matching black leather band. The regular Gear S2 will be available in silver with a white band or in dark gray with matching [...]

Xperia Z5 Premium Will Have 4K Display According to Sony Exec

Sony is expected to unveil the Xperia Z5 lineup in just a few days, but a company exec may have just dropped a little too much information ahead of time. A new video (which has now been taken down) shows  a member of the Sony French marketing team going over the new devices in very specific detail.

On tap for this launch are three devices: the Xperia Z5, the Z5 Compact and a more high-end Z5 Premium. All three of these devices will be rocking a new 23-megapixel camera with even faster auto-focus, a Snapdragon 810 chip, fingerprint scanner, and will have a water-resistant coating on top.

The biggest unintentional public release was more specifically about the Xperia Z5 [...]

Samsung Galaxy Note5 Review: Samsung Is Still King of Big Phones

When you get to the fifth generation of anything, odds are it’s been successful. That has definitely been the case with the Samsung Galaxy Note series. This lineup of smartphones has been around since 2010, and helped usher in the era of giant phones with huge displays. Over the last couple of years however, the market has caught up; even Apple has rolled out a big iPhone. With the Galaxy Note5 though, Samsung has set a new high for what a big smartphone should be. Hardware and Design #gallery-2 { margin: auto; } #gallery-2 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 100%; } #gallery-2 img { border: 2px [...]
