At the BlackBerry event during Mobile World Congress 2015, the Leap and Slider weren’t the only thing unveiled.

BlackBerry announced there would be a new high-end luxury phone from Porsche Design. Furthermore, the new BlackBerry Porsche phone has the current codename ‘Keian.’

The codename is in honor of Keian Blundell, the son of former CrackBerry writer Ryan Blundell. Keian sadly passed away, despite an outpour of help from the BlackBerry community.

With this new Porsche Design phone, BlackBerry hopes to give back to Keian and his family as much as they gave to BlackBerry.

No additional details surrounding the BlackBerry ‘Keian’ were given at the event. It is still a mystery as whether it is an all-touch or QWERTY.
