N4BB will be attending CES 2012, the largest electronics show, next week in Las Vegas. Research In Motion will be there to show off the BlackBerry platform. Last year, RIM did not have too much of a presence or release any big announcements. Wondering what they’ll be showing at CES this year? Here’s a quick preview:

2012 is a year of amazing opportunity for RIM and its communities. At CES, RIM will focus on apps, underscoring its renewed energy and drive in this area and plans to reinvigorate interest in the BlackBerry platform. RIM will also host Expert Presentations on App World, BlackBerry 10, Developer Success and more.

This means you can likely expect to see more demos of PlayBook OS 2.0, examples of how BlackBerry 10 can be utilized by developers, and continuation of app availability on the BlackBerry 7 platform. If you’re hoping RIM will showcase any BlackBerry 10 devices — don’t hold your breathe. Nonetheless, keep it locked to N4BB for all BlackBerry announcements and news from CES 2012.
