Since Instagram refuses to make a BlackBerry 10 app (pffft! dumb move) us BlackBerry users have to seek other alternatives, and there some pretty good ones; not all are great though.

I’ve come across another Instagram client, Photogram. It let’s you log into your Instagram account, watch your feed, like and comment photos… sort of. But we’ll get there soon. The application’s UI isn’t the best, but it works and if you have a Z30, the huge screen is a plus because no space is wasted when it comes to displaying the photos.

I’f like it if there was a way to like the photos from the feed, instead you have to go into the photo and hit the like button. Comments don’t seem to work either, I keep getting all sorts of errors and no comments are posted.

Another feature that’s missing, and a very important one I’ll have to say, is uploading photos. Even though the application says in the description that you can in fact upload photos, there seems to be no way to do that. Photogram is only for viewing, liking and “commenting” purposes only, no photos can be uploaded to Instagram using this app; not yet anyway.

This app is available on BlackBerry World for $0.99, and if you’re not too picky then it’s good. But with much feature rich alternatives such as iGrann available for free, Photogram still has a lot of work to do, but it’s got potential.
