Thought the ‘BlackBerry Boys’ were the only interesting marketing to be used for BlackBerry? Think again. Research In Motion and Channel 4 are teaming up to bring a reality TV show titled ‘Summer Daze with BlackBerry’ to UK airwaves.
The eight-part ‘Summer Daze with BlackBerry’ service will focus on several 18-25 year old music fans around summer festivals. There will be multi-platform coverage with an online hub for the show on its site with exclusive content. Richard Ashley, UK marketing director for Research In Motion (RIM), said that this goes to the heart of the BlackBerry brand. So far, no start date for the series has been stated.
