During the RIM Q3 Fiscal 2012 Results Announcement Conference Call, co-CEO and Founder, Mike Lazaridis, closed his speech with some tid bits on the BlackBerry 10 ‘Superphones’. Mike says the type of chipset they want to use will be dual-core. However, the particular chipset will not be available until mid-2012. This delay in the chipset availability will cause the BlackBerry 10 Superphones to launch in late 2012.

As we exclusively said earlier, Mike says the BlackBerry 10 Superphones will be LTE enabled. How do you believe this huge delay will effect RIM? During the conference call, Mike asked that “you have patience and confidence” in the company. Will you be able to? We can likely expect to see device unveiling at BlackBerry World 2012 in May.
