Another Research In Motion investor is speaking out publicly that they want RIM to sell itself or unload some of its patents. “RIM should also create a committee of four or five independent directors to look into those options”, said Jaguar Financial Corp. CEO Vic Alboini to Bloomberg. Alboni did not mention how much stake Jaguar had in RIM. He did note that the proposal for sell off is backed by other shareholders that make up 5% of RIM.
Check the poll above and vote. Should RIM sell itself to appease shareholders and perhaps evade a failure in the market? Or, should they stay true to themselves and hope for the best? Sound off in the comments.
