With less than two months away from arguably the most important product launch in Research in Motion’s history, RIM has launched an official BlackBerry 10 news and updates page here. Despite having very little content, RIM has teased us with a silhouette of the upcoming L-Series BlackBerry smartphone, clearly showing a textured surface on the back plate. The textured surface does come as a surprise, however, because there hasn’t exactly been a scarcity of photos of the device. The new meshed-leather-look backing does look quite elegant indeed.
In addition, those keen on BlackBerry 10 can sign up for any updates to the official site with their email addresses. So far, you can see some familiar images on the BlackBerry Hub, and the relatively old BlackBerry 10 promotional video. RIM’s branding of BlackBerry 10 has also been kicked up a notch. As we approach the launch date of BlackBerry 10 at the end of January 2013, RIM should be ramping up their marketing efforts to accumulate hype for the new platform. Keep it glued to N4BB and RIM’s official BlackBerry 10 News Page for all the latest information!
