Research In Motion was never a supporter of Digital Living Network Alliance, but according to the DLNA’s website it appears RIM has joined on. Having DLNA capable devices will allow for them to connect to various device so that content can be shared between them.

We’ve seen leaked slides of a wireless media server, which could be a device that will utilize DLNA to connect to a BlackBerry smartphone or PlayBook. It will be interesting in to see how this pans out in the future.
