When the BlackBerry Z30 was first announced for Canadian availability, one wireless carrier was left out: Rogers Wireless. Apparently, the company felt their current BlackBerry lineup was enough without the BlackBerry Z30.
However, due to customer backlash, Rogers Wireless has changed their mind and will soon offer the Z30. Many of Rogers customers questioned Rogers’ decision as abandoning a fellow Canadian company.
“We have a longstanding partnership with BlackBerry and continue to be big supporters of the company and their products,” Rogers spokeswoman Terrie Tweddle said in a statement.
Rogers says the device is going through a certification process and will be available later this month.
