Soccer Ticker, the winner of BlackBerry JamHack Asia 2012 and Developers’ Choice in Bangkok, Thailand, has made it just in time for the new football season with an upgrade to version

One key improvement is a reorganized video section where fans can watch football clips from subcategory such as: Goals, Replays, Press, and More.

“We started including video clips in our earlier release and saw our users doubled their usage time,” said Vincent Putera, Lead Creative at Inspira. “It’s a no-brainer to give our users access and options to more live actions -the more the merrier.”

Another noticeable improvement is the missing header with the Soccer Ticker branding on it.

“Content is first and foremost in our app and taking out the header gives more viewing room to the football fans, especially for the Q10 and Q5 users,” said Victor Koesoemadi, Lead Designer at Inspira.

Soccer Ticker is available globally on the brand new BlackBerry 10 platform with top five users coming from the United Kingdom, Canada, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. Soccer Ticker is available as a free download in BlackBerry World here.
