BlackBerry 10 users will finally get a native Spotify app. However, it will not be from Spotify directly. NemOry, the developer behind Snap2Chat, will be developing a version of the highly sought after music app.

Originally, there were rumors that Spotify was working on an official release, whether it was native or Android port. Somewhere along the lines, the BlackBerry Developer Relations team just couldn’t seal the deal.

Features of Spot2fy will include:

  • Login / Register
  • Search – By Track, Albums, Artist & All
  • View Profile

NemOry says the Radio feature of Spotify will likely not be available due to limitations of the Spotify API. Spot2fy is expected to hit the BlackBerry Beta Zone in a few weeks. Check out the images of the current beta below:
