Strong Sales Of The BlackBerry Q10 Reported In Toronto Stores

BlackBerry Q10 was released in Toronto and already reports are showing strong sales of the device. It was launched on May 1st only in Toronto and the rest of Canada is expected to start selling the Q10 smartphone over the next couple of days. Several carriers and stores selling the device have reported that they have already sold out the device.

“We had a lineup before the store opened. We sold out even turning away someone who wanted to buy 20 BlackBerry Q10’s for his company” Rogers sales staff told Seeking Alpha.

Wireless Wave, a reseller for major carriers, said: “We are thrilled with the launch success of the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone in Canada,” stated Andrew MacLeod, Managing Director of Canada at BlackBerry. “In fact, it was more than 50% better than any other launch day in our history in Canada. GLENTEL has been a strong partner of BlackBerry and the success of the BlackBerry Z10 in their Canadian retail locations is exceptional.”

It seems Canada loves the Q10, and to be honest why wouldn’t they? It’s an awesome device packed with everything we love about BlackBerry, including the awesome keyboard. Let us know if you’ll be hunting down the Q10 in Toronto.
