Apparently, the BlackBerry Torch 9810, which is rumored to release on November 9th, will not have UMA support at launch. This is according to a tweet from the Twitter account @TMobileHelp, which seems to be acting as an official support account for T-Mobile. Although, the account is not Twitter ‘verified’.
According to the official Torch 9810 specs listed on BlackBerry.com, UMA support is listed as carrier dependent. Therefore, the Torch 9810 has the capabilities should the carrier decide to activate. Lets hope the Torch 9810 doesn’t lack UMA support, or at least not far after it is released. Would having no UMA support bother you?
