Cortana For Android Now Available In Public Beta In US

Microsoft’s personal voice assistant, Cortana, is now available for Android in public beta for anyone in the US. The app was initially launched in a closed beta, so close that even if you managed to snag the APK, you wouldn’t be able to use it. But now, it is finally open and anyone who wants to try it out can sign up and download it.

The device is running Android, not BlackBerry 10, so of course it makes sense to include this software into it. After the leaked [...]

BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition Pictured Running Android Lollipop Again

While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Silver Edition Passport running Android, the fact that more pictures are popping up of this device shows it’s definitely more than just a fun prototype from BlackBerry. According to this latest leak, this BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition, which is shown running Android Lollipop 5.1, could be launched as a second edition Passport. While that’s apparently the current plan, there’s also a chance this device may never see the light of day though.
