So you’re walking around and you see this great scene and decide to take a photo. On Portrait mode. And upload it to Instagram. What happens is you have to do one of two things: use a third party app to add borders to the photo so you can upload it without cropping it, or crop it to make it square. The problem is most times you don’t want to do that. Now, you won’t have to as Instagram updated the app to add support for landscape and portrait photo. Let’s take a moment and celebrate.

It’s hard to find someone these days who doesn’t take photos of their food to share with friends and family. Because of this trend, Google was working on a feature called Tablescape which was for uploading photos of food to Google+ and making it easier for other users to find it.
