While nothing has been released in the press, some people who preordered the Tesla Model X were now able to price out their units. Currently, there is only a Signature Series limited edition model available for pricing. Based on the site, entry level pricing starts at $133,000 USD, the same as you would pay for a Porsche Cayenne Turbo. If you want to add all the toys, which includes a towing package, the price rises to just under $145,000 USD. Included in that system is the infamous Ludicrous mode, allowing the SUV astonishing acceleration times of 3.2 seconds to 60 mph. It gets to 60 in 3.5 seconds under normal power. Much faster than the dinosaur burning Cayenne Turbo.
Electric range is rumored at 240 miles, and the Model X does look good. That said, it’s a far cry from the range Audi recently touted with their all electric SUV concept earlier this month.
