How to Turn Off BlackBerry Data Services While Roaming

BlackBerry smartphones are awesome for people who travel a lot, but roaming charges can be very high if you use data all the while you’re out of the country. There is one way to prevent your BlackBerry from using data when roaming, here’s how to do it:

1. Go to Options and select Networks and Connections from the menu.

2. From the new menu, select Mobile Network.

3. Change the While Roaming field to either Off or Prompt. If you choose Prompt, your BlackBerry will ask if you want to use data or not when you enter roaming mode.

4. Save changes, and that’s it!

Now you’ll be fully in charge of the data you use when you travel. If you have any questions or suggestions leave them in the comments below!
