Twitter is tweaking the way you look at its user profiles on the web. The new change was announced this afternoon on Twitter (naturally). With the new profile previews, you can simply hover over a user’s profile and follow/unfollow them and read their bio. You can also see how many tweets they have, and their follower/following count as well.

Twitter has been focusing more on its desktop experience these last couple of weeks. Last week, Twitter removed everyone’s background wallpaper and set a new blank page instead. During yesterday’s earnings call, Twitter interim CEO Jack Dorsey also discussed possible changes to how our timelines look and how we interact with them in order to bring new users to network.

Based on this, it’s more and more likely we’ll keep seeing changes in Twitter not just on mobile but on the desktop in the next few weeks and months.
