The popular social network Twitter has removed their 140 character limit for direct messages, and updates are already rolling out for their iOS, Android and Mac apps, as well as TweetDeck. It’ll be rolling out through the next few weeks so you probably won’t see the change just yet.

We heard about this change back in June, and since Twitter has been making changes on its platform, and its crew, to make the whole Twitter experience better. The limit will only be removed for direct messages, tweets and DMs sent via SMS will still be limited to 140 characters.
