Google isn’t the only major company to redesign its logo this week. Verizon’s new logo was first spotted by TheNextWeb and was later confirmed to be true by a spokesperson. The new logo is simple and features the company name in all black with a thin red checkmark at the end – no more fancy Z tailing off the end.
According to AdAge, the logo was unveiled to employees today, and will be announced to the world officially on Thursday.
[Update] Verizon has gone ahead and publicly confirmed their new logo on Twitter.
